Koes Plus

Koes Plus adalah grup musik Indonesia yang dibentuk pada tahun 1969 sebagai kelanjutan dari grup Koes Bersaudara. Grup musik yang terkenal pada dasawarsa 1970-an ini sering dianggap sebagai pelopor musik pop dan rock ‘n roll di Indonesia. Sampai sekarang, grup musik ini kadang masih tampil di pentas musik membawakan lagu-lagu lama mereka, walaupun hanya tinggal dua anggotanya (Yon dan Murry) yang aktif.

Lagu-lagu mereka banyak dibawakan oleh pemusik lain dengan aransemen baru. Sebagai contoh, Lex’s Trio membuat album yang khusus menyanyikan ulang lagu-lagu Koes Plus, Cintamu T’lah Berlalu yang dinyanyikan ulang oleh Chrisye, serta Manis dan Sayang yang dibawakan oleh Kahitna.

Pilihan nadanya yang manis, syairnya yang sederhana, musiknya yang harmonis secara simultan membuat lagu-lagu Koes Plus enak didengar dan sukar dicari tandingannya dalam blantika musik Indonesia.

GOD BLESS

God Bless adalah grup rock sejak tahun 1970-an. Hingga saat ini, nama God Blessdianggap sebagai salah satu legenda dalam musik rock Indonesia.

Grup musik yang digawangi oleh Achmad Albar pada vokal, Ian Antono pada gitar, Donny Fatah pada bass, Yaya Moektio pada drum dan Abadi Soesman pada keyboard. God Bless pertama kali manggung pada 1972 di Taman Ismail Marzuki pada acara Summer 28.

Sampai saat ini, God Bless telah menelurkan lima album studio dan dua album kompilasi. Lima album studio di antaranya, GOD BLESS (1975), CERMIN (1980), SEMUT HITAM (1988), RAKSASA (1989) dan APA KABAR (1997). Sedangkan dua album kompilasi yaitu, THE GLORY OF GOD BLESS (1990) dan 18 GREATEST HITS OF GOD BLESS (1992).

Sejak album studi kelima pada 1990, God Bless seperti tertelan bumi. Setiap personelnya memiliki kesibukan masing-masing. Namun pada 2009, God Bless bakal kembali ke panggung musik, dan meramaikan musik rock yang memang sekarang sedang 'sepi'.
